Privacy Policy
Viamoda is a professional networking and collaboration platform for the modeling industry, operated by Ponsomni LLC ("Viamoda," "we," "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Viamoda app and website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address, your date of birth (used to confirm that you are at least 18), and the professional role you choose — model, photographer, brand, or agency.
Profile and portfolio content
You choose what to put on your professional profile. Depending on your role, this can include your name or professional name, photographs and portfolio work, a biography, professional details and experience, and — for models — physical measurements. Profile and portfolio content is intended to be seen by other members of the platform.
Messages
When you communicate with other members, we store the messages you send and receive so we can deliver them and display your conversation history.
Verification information
- Brand and agency verification. Brands and agencies may submit business information and documentation for review. Submitted documents are stored privately with restricted access.
- Photographer identity verification. Identity verification for photographers is performed by Stripe, a third-party identity verification provider, using a government ID and a matching selfie collected directly by Stripe under Stripe's own privacy policy. Viamoda receives the verification result and whether the age requirement was met. Viamoda does not store your government ID, your selfie, your date of birth from the ID, your legal name from the ID, or ID document numbers.
- Model photo verification. Models may complete a photo liveness check operated with Amazon Web Services. Viamoda stores the resulting verification status and a single reference image, kept in private storage. Models may also submit measurement-verification media, which is likewise stored privately.
Purchase information
Subscriptions are purchased through Apple's App Store. We receive subscription status information (for example, which subscription is active) through our subscription-management provider. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
Technical information
Like most online services, our infrastructure providers process basic technical information (such as IP addresses and device information) as part of operating and securing the service.
How we use information
- To provide the platform: profiles, discovery, messaging, and portfolios.
- To confirm eligibility, including that every member is at least 18.
- To operate verification processes designed to reduce impersonation and abuse.
- To screen uploaded photographs with automated content-moderation systems and enforce our Community Guidelines.
- To manage subscriptions and provide customer support.
- To send service-related email, such as verification outcomes.
- To maintain the safety, security, and integrity of the platform.
How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Other members — the profile and portfolio content you choose to publish, and the messages you send to them.
- Service providers that operate parts of the platform on our behalf, including database and authentication infrastructure (Supabase), media storage and delivery (Cloudflare), identity verification (Stripe), photo liveness and image services (Amazon Web Services), automated image moderation providers, subscription management (RevenueCat and Apple), and transactional email delivery. These providers process information as needed to provide their services.
- Legal and safety recipients — where required by law, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the safety or rights of our members or others.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account from within the app. When your account is deleted, we delete or de-identify the personal information associated with it, subject to information we are required or permitted to retain for legal, security, or safety reasons. Where identity verification was performed by Stripe, we also request deletion of the associated verification data held by Stripe.
Age policy
Viamoda is an 18+ platform. We do not knowingly provide the service to anyone under 18, and accounts identified as belonging to minors are restricted.
Your rights and choices
You can review and edit your profile information in the app at any time, and you can delete your account from your account settings. Depending on where you live, you may have additional legal rights regarding your personal information — such as rights to access, correct, or delete it. To exercise these rights or ask questions, contact us through our Support page.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will provide additional notice within the app or by email.
